I think this is important. Spiritual direction training with evangelical theology in mind is very hard to come by. I'm doing the best I can with what is available to me.
Not many folks in my neck of the woods who are providing spiritual direction. I found a paper director- Henri Nowen's book "Spiritual Direction".
There's also one here on the Henri Nouwen Society web site. That's where I found one who happened to be living in my area. Some will do direction by correspondence (e-mail and phone calls I supose), but I wonder how effective that would be.
As an update to this query posted quite a while ago I thought it would be worth noting for you all who are a part of the Metamorpha community that we have begun a spiritual direction ministry.
