Discipleship
 (United States)

I would just like to share that if you feel a calling on your life and you need discipled in ministry I had the best experience  with talking with my pastor. I told him my concerns and my calling on my life. He asked me in turn about my life my up bringing  and  my history in church. He told me he would and what he expects of me. I am blessed by having him be my shepard .

I now have a vision..

Re: Discipleship

brochristopher68 thanks for sharing your story. I would love to hear a bit more of the story if you feel comfortable sharing. Isn't it amazing that when another person (pastor, mentor, spiritual director, etc.) shows an interest in our lives and displays genuine care and empathy how powerful it can be. For me, it speaks to how rare this actually is in the church at times. How many people have not felt cared for, nurtured and spurred on in their faith by the community they are surrounded by. Anyways, thanks for the encouragement and it sounds like the Jesus is moving in your life as you discover more of what it means to be His disciple.
