Metamorpha.com E-Newsletter
One year online A year ago, Metamorpha.com broke ground on the wide world of the internet. Since then, we have had over 20,000 visits from over 90 different countries. We are continually establishing new partnerships, adding more content, and looking for new ways to help bless all of you who frequent Metamorpha.com.
Because of this, there are many new and exciting possibilities coming up in the next year. As we become more and more established as a ministry, we hope you will continue to be partners with us as we seek to honor God by learning about and living out the Christian life.
As we move ahead with our ministry this year, we look forward to sharing all of the ways we are growing and developing in our ministry, both on and off of the web. Please keep checking back with us, we have a lot of exciting news to share in the next couple of months!
New Site Features
As Metamorpha.com continues to grow, we are trying to look for new ways to help expand the usability of our site. Many of these updates are in response to recommendations sent to us by people like you, so please let us know how we can bless your time here. There are four new site features I want to highlight here, all of which help to establish and expand community.
Pastors ONLY forum We wanted to highlight this new feature in its own section because of how important we believe it is. In response to a request from a pastor of spiritual formation, we have added a forum that is only visible and accessible to pastors. Even though this is a new feature, we have already had a huge surge of interest from pastors, and there is already great conversation about ministry, spirituality and the spiritual realities of being a pastor. If you are a pastor, email me at kyle@metamorpha.com with your Metamorpha username, your church, and your position to be registered for the forum, and if you know someone who might be interested in this feature, please forward this on.
Discuss! The next feature is “Discuss!” You might have noticed this at the end of articles or beneath videos. The Discuss! link takes you directly to the appropriate forum for the piece of content you are reading, watching or listening to. We seeks to promote dialogue and interaction, so we hope that you will take advantage of this.
Email to a friend Along the same lines is our new “Email to a friend” feature. We realize that it is important to help the already established connectivity you have with your friends, family and ministry partners. We have seen the incredible amount of blogs talking about our content, and now we’ve tried to make it a bit easier to share what you find on Metamorpha.com with the people in your community. Look through some content and let others know about what you have found!
Contributors Page We understand that there are a variety of ways that you like to navigate Metamorpha.com, which is why we have tried to make several ways to get from one place to another. The newest of these navigation options allows you to navigate the site based on a person you may have found to be particularly beneficial. Click here to go to the contributors page, which is a listing of everyone who contributes content to Metamorpha.com, their bio, and what that content is. If you want to access it again, click on the "About" button at the bottom of the page.
New Prayer Exercise
Embracing Our Finitude
We encourage you to set aside 45 minutes for this prayer exercise. Regardless of whether this form of prayer is foreign or familiar to you, we encourage you to walk through the steps listed below. This prayer exercise is intended to focus specifically on one (possible) unhealthy desire of the heart. This desire can be experienced to varying degrees and reveal itself differently in each of our lives. We are fundamentally finite beings who are dependent upon God, but much like Adam and Eve we all desire infiniteness. We desire, not to be dependent upon God, but rather to be God. Read More...
